Point of Friction was founded to provide low propensity Republicans the opportunity to directly influence political outcomes. Turning out low propensity Republicans is the prescription to our party’s ailment. Through our effort’s success, we are able to accomplish the following critical missions:
Create an infrastructure that drives low propensity Republican voters in key races going forward.
Widen the path to victory for statewide Republican candidates, along with down ballot candidates.
Secure battleground states and swing districts moving forward.
Increase our baseline number of votes in non-presidential years.
Match outside progressive spending programs.
Mobilize Trump voters in non-presidential years.
Our PAC is geared towards growing the House majority in 2026 to push through Trump’s agenda in his final two years, but that first starts with Virginia’s Gubernatorial election in 2025. All eyes will be on Virginia this November as we head into a critical midterm election. Progressives have mobilized while we are playing catch up. Time to balance the scales.
2025 By the Numbers
In 2021, 524,143 Virginia Republicans did not vote that voted in the 2024 Presidential Election. If we turn them out, we win. We win, and we signal that a “blue wave” will not happen in 2026.
2026 By the Numbers
By our measure, there are 44 Democrat held districts in-play. We must win these districts to grow our majority and push through Trump’s agenda. In these 44 districts, over 3 MILLION Republicans did not vote in the last midterm. It is critical we turn out these Republicans. It’s the only way we grow the majority.
